Influencer Rate Calculator: What a Sponsored Post Is Worth

Estimate a fair price for one sponsored post from 3,567 single-post fees that creators actually agreed to in Kolect-managed campaigns: by follower count, by the creator's own average views, and against what creators of that size ask.

Showing typical rates for creators with 10K–100K followers. Enter a follower count for yours.

How the calculator works

It gives three numbers for one sponsored post:

  1. Typical agreed fee for the tier. What creators on the same platform with a similar follower count accepted for a single post: the median and the middle half of deals.
  2. What that fee costs per 1,000 views. Enter the creator's average views and the calculator shows what the typical fee would cost per 1,000 views for this creator, against the same ratio in real deals for the tier. Two creators with the same followers can reach very different audiences; this shows whether the one in front of you is good value.
  3. What creators this size ask. Their latest quotes, including deals that never closed, so you know how far apart the first number and the opening ask usually are.

Price per 1,000 views

Followers are a rough proxy for reach. Cost per 1,000 average views (the fee divided by the creator's average views, times 1,000) compares creators on what a brand actually buys. In agreed deals it ran:

Lower is better value. Fees do not rise in step with views (smaller and lower-reach creators cost more per view), so use this to judge value rather than to scale a price. For example, a TikTok creator with 85K followers and 20,000 average views, paid the tier's median fee of $290, would cost $14.50 per 1,000 views, below the tier's median of $52.36: better value than most deals for creators that size.

How to use the estimate in a negotiation

  1. Check the creator's average views over their last 10–20 posts; use the median, not their best video.
  2. Start from the typical fee for the creator's platform and follower range.
  3. Check value: divide the quote by their average views and multiply by 1,000. Below the tier's median cost per 1,000 views is good value; far above it needs a reason.
  4. Open around the lower end of the range and expect to settle near the median.
  5. When an ask is far above the range, ask what justifies it: unusually high views, a niche audience, or usage rights you actually need.
  6. Agree usage rights, whitelisting or Spark Ads codes, deadlines and revisions in writing before you agree the price.

What changes the price

  • Platform. For 10K–100K followers the median agreed fee is $290 on TikTok, $400 on Instagram and $500 on YouTube, where a video is more work and lives longer.
  • Usage rights. Most single posts agreed in this data included paid-usage, whitelisting or ad-code rights, so the figures above already assume a brand can put the post behind ads.
  • The ask is not the price. TikTok creators with 100K–500K followers asked a median of $1,344; the median agreed fee for that tier was $500. Expensive quotes are mostly the ones that never close.

Methodology

Agreed creator fees in Kolect-managed campaigns: 4,560 creator collaborations agreed between August 2025 and October 2026 (over 95% in 2026), converted to USD at ECB reference rates of 15 October 2026. The full analysis, with country and niche splits and how these figures compare with other published benchmarks, is in How much do influencers charge? A fee is what the creator agreed to be paid for one creator-campaign collaboration (not what a brand paid Kolect). Follower tiers use the creator's follower count at extraction; average views are the trimmed mean of their latest 12 posts. Every figure is a median with its 25th–75th percentile and sample size; the data cannot show a trend over time, and it comes mostly from consumer tech, home, DIY and lifestyle campaigns.

Frequently asked questions

How much do influencers charge per post?

In Kolect-managed campaigns the median agreed fee for one post was $290 for TikTok creators with 10K–100K followers, $400 on Instagram and $500 on YouTube, rising to $1,000, $1,848 and $1,800 for creators above 1M followers.

How much should I pay a micro-influencer?

For creators with 10K–100K followers, the middle half of agreed single-post fees was $150–$500 on TikTok, $250–$600 on Instagram and $300–$807 on YouTube. Price within that range on the creator's average views.

How much should I charge for a sponsored post on TikTok?

Brands in this data agreed a median of $290 for TikTok creators with 10K–100K followers and $500 for 100K–500K. If your average views per follower beat your tier, price toward the top of the range and show brands the numbers.

Is price per view better than price per follower?

For judging value, yes. Followers say how many people could see a post; average views say how many typically do, and two creators with the same follower count can differ several times over. Divide a quote by average views and multiply by 1,000, then compare with the cost per 1,000 views in deals for creators of that size.

Do these rates include usage rights?

Most single posts agreed in this data included paid-usage, whitelisting or ad-code rights, so the figures assume a brand can run the post as an ad. Organic-only deals were too few to price separately.
